Which Blogging Platform is better? Blogger.com or Wordpress?

Burning Question Every Beginner Blogger Have :

Answer: This question have very simple answer. It basically depend on 2 important factors
1. Your Goals
2. Your technical knowledge.

Lets discus First Factor : YOUR GOALS :
You see, I believe if you want to blog just for fun, to create network online, then the best choice for you might be Blogger. The reason is very simple. You do not need to be expert to handle blogger.com's platform. This platform is amazing when you judge it from "Ease of use" factor.

Plus if you are a beginner who never blogged, then I highly recommend you to start out with blogger blogs. Work on a Week or so. And then Move on to Wordpress (depending on your goals again).

Now What if you want to become serious about blogging and generate Income from it. Then Blogger might not be the Best of choices out there. If you are serious about Blogging and Image conscious then I'd either recommend Wordpress. Plus You do not want to build your dream on weak foundation.

If you host your blogs on blogger, they can delete your blogs anytime. I have lost quite a few blogs this way and I do not recommend them at all.

If you want to install Wordpress blogs on your site then Please look for a hosting service which can run PHP scripts and have CPanel with Fantastico installation (Don't worry about too much technical words here.. You can just use www.hostgator.com for this purpose, cheap and best customer service.

The only reason I recommend using CPanel and Fantastico is that You can install wordpress blog in like 3 easy steps using fantastico. Yup its that easy and takes around 2 minute to install.

Anyways Lets discuss 2nd Factor : Technical Know how
Like I explained above, if you are absolute beginner then Blogger is good starting bet for getting your feet wet in blogging. Then in a week or so move on to wordpress. Wordpress doesn't not require High level technical knowledge. Its pretty easy to handle.
